Specialty Coating Solutions (SCS) was established in October of 2005 when it acquired state of the art coaters, converters and other thin-film manufacturing equipment. A group of experienced and energetic technical professionals with backgrounds in various industries that require expertise in chemistry and coating have come together to establish SCS as a research and development based company that works with its customers to bring to market superior products that address various customer issues.
Our staff offers experience in the following areas:
1. Thin film coating and converting
2. Chemistry related to research, development and production of base transfer films.
3. Pressure Sensitive Adhesives
4. Research, development and production of precision coated abrasives, including but not limited to, lapping films and micro-finishing products.
5. Extensive knowledge in chemistry involving various slurry formulas for numerous coating and end-use applications.
6. Significant experience in working in various industries such as packaging, fiber optical, semi-conductor, security, cosmetics, metallurgical, automotive, lapidary, medical and roll finishing.
We maintain a strict secrecy policy with our customers as we often work with proprietary formulas and products. Our goal is to listen carefully to each customer and to be extremely responsive to your unique requirements. We will work hard each day to be your strategic vendor.
SCS is primarily guided by our customers. We have established tremendous customer relationships by first working through product development issues before providing standard production of products. Our specialty of custom coating is based on our expertise in working with customers on experimental coating trials in order to fine tune an existing coating and to research and develop improved and new coated products.
The owners of SCS have allocated substantial funding to SCS for purposes of providing adequate financial resources to quickly respond to customer requirements.
